The House of Refuge provides housing, job assistance, counseling and education to those in transition, with particular emphasis on those affected by: substance abuse, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, and those being released from incarceration.

Poverty is a social problem and we all have to pull together to make this world a better place. House of Refuge alongside its volunteer is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those who are homeless and in transition through provision of a safe home-like environment. We serve individuals in need of assistance to reach self sustainability and re-enter society. Our volunteers play an integral role in the future lives of the people we serve. We specialize in rehabilitation, both spiritually and through counseling. All creativity is welcomed to help eradicate poverty and further empower individuals to help themselves.
