Our mission is to be Central Florida's champion of compassion by restoring dignity to those in need, at-risk, or in a financial crisis. We assist the working poor and provide hope by offering men, women, and children food assistance and other support services. Destiny Foundation is the bridge that links the resources of corporate America to those in need.
Description:
Destiny Foundation is a non-profit (501c3), hunger-relief organization headquartered in Downtown Orlando. In 2001, Destiny Foundation began its vision to solve Central Florida's hunger problem by launching Destiny Community Assistance Center, now known as the Greater Orlando Food Outreach. We have now served an estimated 300 people each day in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. We provide individuals, families, single parents, and senior citizens with free staple food items and thousands of other food and household products for a small suggested donation.
