Shepherd's Promise mission is to provide homeless women with children transitional housing and comprehensive support services to assist them in attaining financial independence and self-sufficiency
Description:
Shepherd's Promise is a transitional housing program for women with children who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We provide fully furnished apartments, life skills training, financial assistance, transportation, and encouragement to these women and their children. Being homeless can devastate a person. She loses more than just her home. A person loses confidence, her sense of security, and her family structure. Rebuilding a family unit requires time, education, support, love, and commitment. We feel we are helping fulfill the Shepherd's promise by offering a haven.
