The Adult Literacy League develops readers to build a strong and literate community. The Adult Literacy League strives to be the leading provider of adult and family literacy services in Central Florida. We achieve our goals through the collective efforts of our volunteers and our community partners are critical to our success in developing readers and literacy advocacy.
Description:
Would you like to change someone's life? Become a Basic Literacy or English Language Literacy Tutor and help someone become a better parent, a self-sufficient worker and a fully participating citizen. We offer a 10 hour mandatory tutor training to prepare you to begin teaching one of our adult students and we will also provide ongoing training and support as you and your student progress.
