The Community Service Center of Central Florida is a community responsive non-profit organization committed to providing neighborhood-based programs that promote family preservation and economic self-sufficiency through a focus on financial support services, education and literacy.
Description:
The Community Service Center of Central Florida, Inc. (CSC) is a United Way funded organization which was founded in 1970 as a tutoring service for local area school children. With its expanded range of services since its establishment and its merger in 2005, today CSC serves more than ten neighborhoods and forty schools in the Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties of Central Florida. While CSC offers “one-stop” services on a daily basis, the main focus of the programs offered by the organization are the family-related needs arising from poverty—which varies from emergency assistance to family support programs including employability skills training. In addition, our Food Pantry and free Clothing Closet provide additional services to help families remain stable during a crisis.
