The primary purpose of the Legal Aid Society is to provide quality legal services for the low-income residents, the working poor, children and disadvantaged groups with special legal needs in Orange County, Florida, and to assist in providing legal aid services to similarly situated residents of neighboring counties through an effective and fiscally sound program through the combined efforts of staff and Pro Bono attorneys.

Description:
The Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association provides assistance primarily in the substantive areas of family, juvenile, housing, consumer, welfare/income maintenance, health, education, and immigration law. We also provide immigration legal services to low-income residents of neighboring counties. Our advocates, both staff and volunteer, employ a comprehensive range of legal strategies to provide full case direct representation. We also administer the Guardian ad Litem Program in Orange County in which we represent abused, abandoned, and neglected children.
