Volunteers provide companionship and friendly support to patients, clerical support and data entry, assistance with special events and fundraising, and telephone support to survivors.

Hospice of the Comforter, the 5th largest nonprofit in Central Florida, is the only nonprofit hospice serving patients and their families living with an advanced illness in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties. Hospice of the Comforter, recognized by Florida Medical Business as one of Florida's top 10 hospices, has provided more than $1.5 million in free care during the last three years and served more than 18,000 families in Central Florida with physical, emotional and spiritual support.

From downtown Orlando, take I-4 East toward Daytona. Take exit #92, Altamonte Springs, and turn left onto SR-436. Go about 2 miles and turn right onto Montgomery Road. Our Horizons Bereavement Center is on the right just before Central Parkway. Turn right on Central Parkway and our main building is on the right.
