The Patient Assistance Program (PAP) Coordinator develops and maintains effective relationships with pharmaceutical companies to supply indigent patients of the health center with access to needed medication. PAP medications are available at little or no cost. Volunteers would assist the PAP Coordinator by interviewing patients and inputting information into a computer program and calling pharmaceutical companies. Requirements for this volunteer opportunity are: Detail-oriented individuals with basic computer and phone skills. Volunteers should also have a strong desire to help improve the lives of the homeless and medically indigent people in our community. We will train in the use of computer program. Ideal for college and high school students seeking community service hours!
