Guardian Ad Litem Volunteer Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Be a children's rights advocate representing the best interests of a child in at-risk children's dependency court cases. Involves research through interviews with law enforcement, professionals and with the child and family members, and becoming a trusted friend of the child. This volunteer opportunity is for volunteers at least 19 YEARS in age, mature and for those concerned about child rights and the best interest of children. Extensive training will be provided and background check is required. We are seeking ideally adults and seniors. The Guardian Ad Litem training is specific to the program's appointment on dependency cases and not domestic/family court cases.
