An ideal public safety opportunity ... help staff the Altamonte Police Substation front desk at Altamonte Mall with meed and greet functions as well as fingerprinting services. Volunteers must be at least 18 with a good background check (provided by Altamonte Police).

Volunteers must be willing to commit a few hours per week on a regular basis Monday - Saturday 10am -1pm or 1pm - 4pm An ideal public safety opportunity to help staff the Altamonte Police Substation front desk at Altamonte Mall.

Volunteers will work with the following groups
Adolescents (13-17)  Families / Parents
Adults (26-54)  Older Adults (55+)
Children (5-12)  Young Adults (18-25)
This volunteer opportunity addresses the following social interests

Community Development  Public Assistance
We need volunteers who are free at these times
Occasional

Directions:
 I - 4 East - Exit at Lake Mary Boulevard. Turn right and follow Lake Mary Boulevard to College Drive (approximately 3 ½ miles) on right (Entrance to Seminole Community College). Follow road (keeping left) to stop sign and turn right onto Weldon Boulevard. Turn left into the second parking entrance and out builing is a grey portable building with burgundy trim and doors. Park in Parking Lot A directly in front of the building. From 17-92 North to Sanford - Left at light onto County Home Road (at fire station and just before SPCA and Flea World). Bear left at fork by fire station. Follow road to stop sign and turn left. SCVP building is located on the left, behind the construction trades building. Grey portable building with burgundy trim and doors. Park in Parking Lot A directly in front of the building.
