Community Law Enforcement Academy for Volunteers Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Volunteers must be 19 to take this sixteen week course on Wednesdays, beginning January 6th from 6:30pm - 10pm each week. The Community Law Enforcement Academy is designed to educate the citizens of Seminole County in the concepts and procedures of law enforcement. There are no physical requirements and it is a free course of instruction taught by members of the Command Staff, Deputy Sheriffs, and staff from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. Major blocks of instruction include Seminole Neighborhood Policing/Special Operations, Corrections, Criminal Investigations and Youth Services. Volunteers must be 19 years old.
