Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on March 10, 2010 |
Volunteers will be assisting the Maitland Historical Society Development Manager with weekly public relations tasks. These will include, but not be limited to, sending out membership forms and renewals, updating our marketing kiosk, restocking brochures in various locations, and sending out press releases to various news outlets. This is a great learning opportunity or an opportunity for a more experienced individual to really take the opportunity and grow it. Volunteers must have a background in writing that proves they can write clearly, concisely, and with proper punctuation and spelling. Volunteers working with PR and Marketing will have many projects going at one time and must be able to independently keep them going. They will report periodically to the development manager what has been completed and what needs to be continued. As a PR/Marketing Volunteer you will be representing the Maitland Historical Society. We expect our volunteers to represent the Society well in manner, appearance, and attitude.
