Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Our Patient/Family Care Volunteers are a vital part of each Hospice team. Volunteers befriend patients, spend time with them, listen to their stories and share some of their own. Patient/Family Care Volunteers also provide respite to caregivers, enabling them to run errands or just get out for a while.
Patient/Family Care Volunteers often use their special talents, such as building wheelchair ramps and doing yard work, to help families.

Patient/Family Care Volunteers are required to attend an 18 hour training provided by Hospice of the Comforter prior to visiting patients and families.

Our Horizons Bereavement Center is on the right just before Central Parkway. Turn right on Central Parkway and our main building is on the right.
