Food is distributed on-site and off-site to families seeking assistance. Each week the pantry processes and distributes more than 3 tons of products which range from groceries to toothbrushes. Our volunteers help with sorting, packaging, stocking and distributing products.We also assist with natural disasters as second responders for food and personal hygiene products. Catholic Charities requires all volunteers to fill out a volunteer application.We do on-the-job training. Requirements are:must be able to stand for 2-3 hours per shift, bending and lifting 20lbs. Volunteers must dress appropriately for the type of work being done, enclosed shoes are a must.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Catholic Charities Of Central Florida, Inc.
